This is a software tool that can help remove email addresses that are not in use, a general address or otherwise a bad address.
GSA Email Verifier verifies email addresses from mailing lists. These may be a mailing list you have collected, contacts list in the MS Outlook, Windows address book, etc. The address lists could be in many other formats, and yet this tool will work to remove the bad ones all the same. Many addresses are too general or administrative and thus no use for direct marketing/mailing efforts. For example, info@, service@, support@ or a webmaster@ and the like are this kind of addresses. It is possible, with this tool, to use the included search tool to remove such addresses or remove addresses based on some predefined rules. The utility will be able to process close to 100,000 email address an hour depending on the kind of processor on the machine and how many threads it can run simultaneously. The size of the list to be verified could be unlimited.
The tool is able to determine if a mail might bounce or be undeliverable. It is important to remove such mails as some ISPs may prevent you from sending too many such mails and/or charge you for return mails that are undeliverable. This utility is able to connect to the addresses SMTP server and determine, without sending an actual mail message, if the mail will bounce. The interface is completely intuitive. There’s a large display area showing you the list. The list will indicate the status of each of these addresses. You could then remove them as required or automatically. Save the clean addresses for future use. Any heavy mail list user will benefit from this tool.
